James B. Creighton, Esq.
James (“Jay”) B. Creighton is the founder of Creighton
Law Offices. Throughout his entire legal career, Jay has specialized
in providing his clients with advice in the areas of estate planning,
including the creation of revocable and irrevocable living trusts
(e.g., life insurance trusts, special needs trusts, grantor retained
income trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, etc.), Estate
& Trust Administration, Business Succession Planning, Conservatorship
Law, and Elder Law. Jay works closely with clients to help them
develop their estate planning goals and objectives, and drafts the
documents to accomplish those goals. He has developed a strong and
notable reputation of devotion to his clients by understanding their

Faye Louise Simpson
Faye Louise Simpson is the Administrative Assistant and Legal Secretary
to James Creighton and has been with Creighton Law Offices since
December 2000. She is the first contact for the firm’s clients and
vendors and, as such, is instrumental in keeping the office organized
and flowing smoothly. Faye creates and maintains client case files,
schedules client appointments, and most importantly, provides an
excellent “first impression” to clients and vendors. She has a wonderful
ability to listen to clients’ concerns and worries, especially in
estate planning matters, and to take accurate notes of their particular
circumstances.
Faye is a native of San Francisco and lives on the Peninsula. Her
early career was as a journeyman bookbinder in the commercial bookbinding
industry. One of her favorite hobbies is re-binding and repairing
rare and out-of-print books and manuscripts by hand. Faye is also
a family historian and genealogist, and is a member of the San Mateo
County Genealogical Society.
